Engine Rebuild
Once the Engine and transmission, lightweght flywheel, and stage 1 clutch were bolted together, The old VW lump was removed, and the new 250-300HP drivetrain installed. Anothercouple spendy bits, and this build will be down to the cheap, but mundane parts of the build, such as wiring, and plumbing of the coolant, fuel, and exaust systems.
The head came back from the shop cracked, so a new engine was ordered. This is an upgraded engine from the USDM one. This is a JDM AVCS (automatic valve control system) engine with its new ECU.

Currently the 2005 Subaru EJ205 WRX turbo Engine is in disassembly getting ready to be sent off to the machine shop for overhaul. Once complete the engine will receive a 3 inch stainless steel exhaust, lightened flywheel with stage 1 clutch, and lightened pulleys.
The new Subaru gears Engine and transmission mounts have been acquired.
Next on my list is to acquire a lightened 12lb flywheel, stage 1 clutch kit, power pulleys, and liquid filled transmission mounts.
